PrevaPack is a Zinc Oxide Eugenol (ZOE) based root canal sealer. Dentists use it for permanent obturation during endodontic treatment.
It contains dexamethasone. In addition, it includes Barium Sulphate for radiopacity. Therefore, clinicians can clearly evaluate the obturation on radiographs after placement.
How Does It Work?
During obturation, clinicians combine PrevaPack with gutta-percha or silver points. The sealer fills irregularities within the canal system and supports adaptation of the obturation material.
